20:07 - Bear with me as I change the look of this blog at least 100 times a day.  I am attempting to create a template that I won't get sick of too quickly and I have decided to go for a more streamlined look.  Wordpress has a theme that is very nice but Wordpress also does some funny things with images that are deal breakers at this time.  Blogger, Google, CSS, and I have become best friend today!

See? Beeeaautifulll!  The best part is that only the center column (body of the blog) scrolls, the left side column doesn't.  Anyone know how to recreate that using CSS in blogger?

I Love Lamp

9:15 - Martin keeps mentioning that he needs a bed side table lamp and I had it in my mind that I was wanting a brass lamp with a big black drum shade. That is, until I saw this on ebay. A little out of my price range given that it is only a lamp and that I would also have to buy a lamp shade but oooh it is so lovely! The green and salmon pink colors are in our bedroom too!! Eep!

Bici

12:57 - In the shed out back I have a bike like this. Only add some rust, a super uncomfortable seat and oh, don't forget to grab both the wheels that have fallen off! This pretty one from AdelineAdeline reminds me that I wanted to fix mine. Martin bought mine for me while we were living in Vicenza, saving me from having to walk the two miles to centro. The man we bought it from was probably close to seventy and spoke no English. His shop was about the size of my bedroom, the walls were lined with old photographs of him street racing. After a quick test ride and thirty Euro later the bike was mine. Nothing made me feel more authentically Italian than riding down to the piazza on my bike with a scarf.

Caskata

22:18 - Caskata has become my new favorite company and of course they are to the trade only...booo. Look at those amazingly awesome dishes! And that paper?! Now I'm wanting to redo my dining room with something completely off the wall and wacky! All those little fishes are adorable too!
